Masters Message Spring 2009

Brothers,

Time is rapidly moving by.  I believe we have had a productive three months.  We currently have four brothers taking degrees. Several applications have been received and I look foreward to raising more fine men.  We have expanded some of our commitees to better serve our widows and brothers.  I am looking for  more brothres to get involved.  This is your lodge, the sky is the limit as to what we can acomplish.  Tp play the words of John F. Kennedy, ask not what  your lodge can do for you, ask what you can do for your lodge.  Please see me if there are any programs that you would like to see or if there is something you would like to do.  The more the merrier.

Our Jr. Warden . Eric J. Malafronte did an outstanding E.A. Degree in January as well did S. Warden, Martin J. Macary with the F.C. Degree, R.W. Alfred Rollinson of District 3A was very impressed with our degree work, our records keeping and the Masonic knowledge of our three principal officers.

We held our annual George Washington Day dinner on February 18th. Thirteen brothres and five non-masons braved a surprise snow strom to attend.  Two of the guests asked for applications at the end of the evening and one more exprerssed an interest in joining.

Our historian. Bob Dorr, comtinues to impress the lodge with his tireless work not only in discovering new nuggets of information on our lodge and past members, but also the work that he is doing to preserve it for future generations.

Finally, heading into the middle  of my term as Master of the lodge, I noe realize and understand why some of the Past Masters have stated "it's goin to go by fast".  There is a lot more that I want to accomplish.  I will continue to stive to do my best for you and our lodge.

Fraternally,

Shane Dufresne

Worshipful master

Welcome to Our Lodge
Welcome to our lodge website.

As Connecticut Freemasons we embrace the tenets of Friendship, Morality and Brotherly Love. We do this by using the teachings of Freemasonry to better ourselves, our community and each other. At our lodge we make Masons and here at our website we show you our history, activities and schedule of future events.

The Masonic Fraternity does not invite anyone to become a member, instead we wait patiently for the special man to knock on our door and seek admittance. Perhaps your visit here is that "knock" on our outer door.

Feel free to browse our site; investigate us and Freemasonry! See for yourself what we are doing here. We hope this site interests you into becoming a better man and joining the greatest and largest Fraternity in the world.

Connecticut Freemasons: making a difference, here and around the world.
