Brothers,

I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer.  I know I have.   Harmony Lodge had a successful spring. We initiated, passed and raised four new brothers.  Our inspection went very well and the District Deputy seemed pleased with our performance of the Master Mason Degree.  I want to thank all the Brothers and Past Masters who helped fill in that night.

Soon we will be going back to labor, as we have four candidates waiting to take their degrees this fall.   Let us keep up the effort and continue to perform top notch degree work.  Attendance at the rehearsals has been better and it shows in the rituals.

On a lighter note, our new T.V. is finally installed and the cable should be ready for the football season.  Hopefully we can get together on Sundays or even a Monday night for some fun and fellowship.  My next project is to try and get some comfortable seating in front of the T.V.

Over the summer some of us enjoyed a bit of fellowship and fun on our annual fishing trip.   I would like to thank Brother Andrew Dellamarggio for organizing the trip this year.  Six of us set out at 4am and had a great time.  The biggest fish was 38 inches this year.

Finally, I must say time certainly goes by fast and I will soon be a Past Master.  This will be my last Master’s Message and I want to express my gratitude to all the brothers of Harmony #42 who have helped me through my term. It has been an honor and a pleasure serving all of you.
